A Weekend With My Dryrobe | Poole Harbour Watersports

My Dryrobe Diary:

Weekends are for embracing the outdoors, and making the most of what we love doing, no matter the weather!  So come along with me where over this past weekend, my Dryrobe became my ultimate companion and was used everyday but each in a different way!

Friday: Sunrise Walk and Sea Swim

Friday began early at 7am at Sandbanks for a golden sunrise walk along the beach with the dog. The chill in the air was no match for my Dryrobe, which doubled as a cozy coat for the walk, with space for me to layer up underneath and big pockets to store my gloves and socks for the swim, as well as my cold hands!

After the stroll, it was time for a refreshing sea swim. The water was biting, but invigorating, as always. Post-swim, my Dryrobe came to the rescue once more, acting as a warm, private changing room. The fleece lining dried me off while keeping the sea breeze at bay. On the walk back to the car and a stop-off at a cafe, the dryrobe was essential in helping warm up my body.

Saturday: Wing Foiling on the Water

Saturday brought a different water adventure in the form of wing foiling in Poole Harbour. Before hitting the water, I threw on my Dryrobe to stay warm while rigging up my equipment on the side of the road. The wind was strong, but the waterproof outer shell and roomy fit kept me comfortable and allowed me to not get cold prior to getting in the water.

After a few hours of fun (and plenty of cool downs in the water!), I got back to land, and threw on my Dryrobe to ensure the wind didn't cool me down now I was off the water. It also made changing out of my wetsuit on the side of the road a breeze, shielding me from both the cold winds and curious walkers at the harbour. Once changed and back at home, I washed and dried off my winging kit, but due to the wicking material of the dryrobe, I didn't need to dry that so left it in the car for the next day :)

Sunday: Evening Dog Walk

The weekend wrapped up with a rainy evening dog walk. My Dryrobe served as the ultimate raincoat, its waterproof exterior ensuring I stayed dry no matter how much the skies opened up. As the robe is also super warm, even though it was cold, dark and miserable I didn't have to layer up too much with my Dryrobe on top, so I was super comfy with just a t shirt on underneath.

Of course, no walk would be complete without my four-legged friend, who trotted happily alongside me—also sporting a matching waterproof jacket so he wasn't too wet either on our return home.

From sunrise swims to rainy dog walks, my Dryrobe was indispensable this weekend. Its versatility, warmth, and weatherproof design made every outdoor moment more enjoyable. Whether you’re braving the waves or simply walking the dog, it’s the perfect companion for any adventure.
