A board for everyone. Whether you're just starting out, looking to cruise the Mediterranean or race your friends around your local lake, the Gaastra One Design is the one board for everyone. At the beach the One Design is just as happy catching small waves as it is exploring the coastline discovering new coves. Inland the One Designs upwind performance and glide make exploring your local lake a breeze. Optimized for lighter conditions from 0-25knts a classic cruising shape has been redeveloped for modern day performance. A long outline and parallel rails provide maximum glide. Double concave bottom contours further improve performance and maneuverability across the entire wind range.
The Gaastra One Design board comes in two models. Officially registered in the Windsurfer Racing Class worldwide, the first with a larger sports performance daggerboard providing power, upwind performance for those looking to get the maximum out of the One Design. The Performance model also comes with a covered daggerboard slot allowing easy adjustment of the centerboard while racing or blasting. A Freeride model designed with short easy to use daggerboard offers maximum maneuverability and easy control when out and about with the family or teaching your friends. This board is perfect for taking your first steps into the sport or for centers looking for a fun teaching board that can also be used to race.
