FALCON FOIL
The dedicated foil board, the Falcon Foil TE is designed to not only get you up and foiling in the lightest winds but also give you maximum control of a high powered foil around a racecourse.
For 2023 Fanatic have developed three new models for high end slalom, 140L for high wind slalom/ long distance racing and speed, 170L for free foil slalom, women and lighter riders and the 188L which is the flagship PWA world cup edition. All three of these models are dedicated foil slalom racing machines. You do also have the 190L which is specifically designed to win foil course racing!
The wide tail and parallel rails give a very balanced stance out on the rail, which is crucial for control when foiling a top speed – whether you are hiking upwind or reaching. The shape has an optimised stance for use with large race sails, so that you can effectively drive the foil hard to gain every ounce of performance, while the nose has bevelled rails and vee to absorb those occasional touchdown without slowing you down.

Technology
Carbon sandwich light finish has a perfect weight to stiffness ratio in all the sizes of the boards, this is a result of its very fine weave and dynamic flex. Full biax carbon is used on the deck and bottom of the bigger falcons for maximum stiffness and lightest as possible. On the smaller falcons and the falcon speed boards, it is used soley on the deck for better flex of the board in choppy conditions. When combined with the PVC sandwich and glass reinforcements the biax carbon provides a balance of stiff to weight ratio.
I have used this board on flat water in calm and very windy conditions. I really like this board it handles really well, is a pleasure to paddle and seems quite quick. one of the reasons for choosing this board was it is designed for lighter weight paddlers, it really does fit the bill in that respect. All in all a brilliant board. In addition the service I received from Poole Harbour Watersports was excellent.
Unfortunately I ordered the wrong size and had to return for an exchange, couldn’t speak highly enough of the service I received being kept updated along the way and the new coat being dispatched as soon as it was back in stock. Thank you
