Top of the line super light, strong and responsive blade technology has taken another leap.

Using full cover pre-impregnated top of the line 3K and uni-directional carbon fibres.

Controlled resin uptake. The overall strength is increased with high consistency pre-impregnation.

Full 3K Prepreg carbon infusion rail all the way up to the neck for increased durability and impact resistant.

Pre-Impregnation

Starboard wanted to develop the lightest shafts with the most accurate bend curves. Pre-impregnated fabrics have the lowest resin uptake and provide the most consistent production.

Prepreg Carbon shaft is ultra light weight for longer and more efficient paddle sessions. Light weight carbon fibre pre-impregnated construction.

What does the flex mean?

Pre preg comes in S35 and S40 for fixed or S35 for adjustable and 3 piece.

S35 – Popular with taller paddlers using a longer shaft. Available in Fixed Round Prepreg carbon, Adjustable in Prepreg carbon.

S40 – A balance in performance between stiffness and flex. Available in Fixed Prepreg Carbon.

You can also choose your shaft diameter with the Lima Prepreg for maximum comfort and efficiency.

Oval – Precise and controlled grip. Shaped to naturally fit in hand for the most direct tracking and alignment. No sharp angles.

29mm Round – The lightest and most versatile shaft. Preferred for all round paddling and waves.

27.5mm Round – Perfect grip for long distance.

26mm Skinny – Reduced Diameter Shaft (RDS) for lighter riders who require a smaller grip. Suited for kids, women and racers who want a shaft that feels slight in the hand.

How many pieces in the paddle?

Adjustable shaft is precise, light and strong. The wide tiki clamp for a quick and effortless release. The skinny rounded and smooth clamp ensures that your hand never gets stuck on a hard corner when shifting grip.

2 piece Adjustment – adjustable shafts are great for paddlers looking for different paddle lengths or sharing the paddle with friends and family.

3 piece Adjustment – 3pc adjustable shaft connect using a secure spring pin system and comes with an additional Clamp to reduce any play. When full detached, measures only 91cm and easily fits inside the Re-Cover bag. (Tufskin sold without inner register slot on shaft).
