What foils and recommended for the Foil X?
The Foil X is a compact foil board designed to foil with smaller, lighter sails. You’ll get the most out of this board with more lifty and manoeuvrable foils like the Starboard Foil SuperCruiser Evo or the faster, higher performance foils like the Starboard SuperFlyer or Freeride Evo foils.

Wood Technology remains a favourite for riders preferring more comfort, more control and the unique crisp feel of an original Starboard. It’s time to bring back this technology while reducing our CO2 footprint. Full wood sandwich lamination of 0.6mm Australian Pinewood over modern, recyclable 3mm PET core foam ensures durability and comfort in a good strength to weight ratio. Today’s wood is less visible in modern graphics; UV protected by fresh blue paint and stickers that compliment the natural grain with a really nice effect. A classy re-edition of a classic Starboard Original.

I have used this board on flat water in calm and very windy conditions. I really like this board it handles really well, is a pleasure to paddle and seems quite quick. one of the reasons for choosing this board was it is designed for lighter weight paddlers, it really does fit the bill in that respect. All in all a brilliant board. In addition the service I received from Poole Harbour Watersports was excellent.
Unfortunately I ordered the wrong size and had to return for an exchange, couldn’t speak highly enough of the service I received being kept updated along the way and the new coat being dispatched as soon as it was back in stock. Thank you
